Jun 03, 2019 · Right-click on the icon, go to Open Network and Internet Settings, then the Wi-Fi tab, and toggle off. Even if that doesn’t solve your problem, it will make the tests below easier to run.
Trouble connecting to internet but only on my computer
My Dell computer all of sudden won't connect to the Internet via a wired connection. In fact, there isn't a network icon showing up in the task bar, If I go to the network connections page, I will be presented with a blank page (and the device manager page is blank, too). In the middle of checking my email yesterday my Internet connection was lost. My motel and router are working and I have reset both and my computer many times and tried to restore my computer from a backup point when it was working it still won't connect. So then I connected the problem computer directly to the modem, and amazingly had an internet connection back! Wanting to get the router back in play for wireless access, I reinstalled the router (as the internet connection was back) and it is now working and my problem computer internet connection is still in place.
